  1. Hello, I have a laptop with an integrated Graphic Card ATI Xpress 200M. I succeed with the 10.6.8 install. Display is working without kext, with a bad resolution (1024x768) and no QE acceleration. My native resolution is 1280x800. My laptop is a Toshiba L30-105(PS33). 1002:5a62 ATI RC410 [Radeon Xpress 200M] Is there a solution ? A kext ? A work around (force my native resolution) ? Any ideas ? 2. I encountered a hang when installing snow leopard on my HP 210 atom N570 netbook. I had the install log open, and the last item was something about updating the dyld caches (it was about 90-95% done). Background: I put iATKOS S3 v2 on a USB, then ran netbook installer. On the Netbook, I ran a liveCD of gparted, and created a 100GB HFS+ partition (I then had to reformat the partition with the installer to add journaling). I started the install on my netbook. I set some appropriate options in the "customise" area. The install went fine until towards the end when the system hung (except for the mouse). I waited for another 40 minutes to see if it would come back, but it didn't. I tried booting into the partially installed system, but unsurprisingly, nothing happened. I tried installing again, this time I left the install log open. Again the install hung. The last item in the log was something about updating the dyld caches. This time I left it overnight, but it didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas? I have spent a bunch of time searching the web and searching forums for any similar experiences. I think I selected the right options in the install, however I am not sure. I assume that choosing the wrong options would not cause the install to hang. Is this correct?

  4. I recently successfully installed Mac OS 10.7.2 via iAtkos L2, even though I couldn't use my trackpad nor my usb mouse. I did a format of the hard drive via iAtkos V7 (The only one which boots perfectly) and then, using only the keyboard, I installed everything. But when I got it to boot, it gave me a kernel panic: "cpu (3) is failing to respond to interrupts". I tried booting with ignore cache and it didn't go past the Apple grey boot screen, and also in safe mode (-x), which also gave me the same panic. At the moment I can't install Lion in any way, because iAtkos S3v2 gives me, ironically, the same kernel panic L2 does. It's frustrating, since my laptop is really performant and brand new, so I would appreciate any help given
  5. Hello all, I am trying to get snow leopard to install on my laptop, and I cannot even get it to boot up. I am using Nawcoms boot cd (0.3.2) and a retail cd (10.6). After the mod cd loads the kernel and say to press enter, I press enter and my computer immediately reboots. I have tried many different flags, and it always reboots. I have an Acer Aspire 4530, with an AMD Athlon X2 (QL-60), and a NVIDIA chipset. My graphics card is an NVIDIA GEForce 9100M G. Help would be really appreciated.

No Wireless on my Lenovo S10e!

Hello Everyone I'm REALLY new to the whole idea of a 'hackintosh', i only found out about the concept about 6 months ago. I have wanted to try and make a hackintosh ever since and about two weeks ago i got hold of my unlocked school netbook (A Lenovo S10e) and immediatly researched what to do. Yes, i know it's an old machine but this is all a big experiment for me. So far i have been able to get Snow Leopard 10.6.4 working well Via S10 Snow Leopard Enabler, however i have one problem; the wireless card won't be recognised no matter what i try. The instructions that come with the enabler say that wireless should work "out of the box" but it doesnt, Bluetooth DOES work however. The Enabler also says that audio, full screen resolution (1024 x 576), sleep, two finger scrolling and wired Ethernet SHOULD work and i can confirm that they do, it's just the wireless thats the problem! My Machine's Specifications: - Intel Atom N270 @ 1.6GHz - 2 Gb DDR2 SDRAM - 160Gb Fujitsu HDD - Intel GMA 950 - Broadcom Bluetooth I think the wireless PCI card is this: Broadcom BCM4312M I previously have Windows 7 installed on this machine and the wireless worked fine Thanks in advance for the help anyone can render!
  7. So I installed hackintosh (iATKOS) on a VM, and now it doesn't boot. My host is AMD, but during the installation, it crashed the first time, then went all the way through the second run. I'm guessing, "waiting for root device" means it can't see the hard drive partition? Or is this due to something missing, from the installation? Any ideas? Thanks in advance

  11. hey Everyone, I'm very new to MAC. But Learning. I donwnloaded the new version of Chameleon. The above post was great by c0rk007hck, I followed the instructions and I was able to exit on the terminal. And after restarting the Desktop it did boot up and I saw like a logo and then restarted again and it is keep happening. The step I didnt take is where exactly I would copy the "theme folder and smbios.plist. Because I dont have "extra" folder. So Where should I copy this now( Should I make the folder my self but then where would I put that folder?) Where do I find Kexts that I would be putting in Extra/EXTENSIONS. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT I DONT HAVE ANY EXTRA FOLDER BUT I DO HAVE EXTENSIONS FOLDER IN SYSTEM/LIBRARY. DO you think this Where I will be putting kexts but which one or from where , is it from the Chameleon folder? I have Snow Leopard 10.6.3. This Step: Was not able to do because not having the Extra folder..........----------------------------------------------------------- For Chameleon 2.0 only --------------------------------------------------------------- 10. Copy Themes and smbios.plist to your Extra folder. You can some themes in this forum, as well some smbios files. 11. Finally add any kexts you wish to /Extra/Extensions folder like you usually would. I dont seem to find it any where. Any Help Please Thank You
