Jay Cee
Hello everyone, Greetings from Brazil. I've just installed a PCIe USB 3.0 card on my hackintosh, but it's not working. System profiler recognises the card but when I plug in any USB devices, nothing happens. I've also already installed the universal usb 3.0 kext via #####. My hackintosh is running Yosemite 10.10.1 PCIe card vendor id: 1033 Device: 0194 Sub-vendor id: FFFF Nec Corporation uPD720200 USB 3.0 Host Controller Any ideas about what could be happening? I appreciate your help. Thanks a lot guys! Happy Holidays, Jay Cee. leplouc
In case of your USB card has an extra power supply connector (which is usually the case because the PCI-E port cant provide enough power), be sure to have feed this connector with one coming from the main supply.
