1. Hello everyone, Greetings from Brazil. I've just installed a PCIe USB 3.0 card on my hackintosh, but it's not working. System profiler recognises the card but when I plug in any USB devices, nothing happens. I've also already installed the universal usb 3.0 kext via #####. My hackintosh is running Yosemite 10.10.1 PCIe card vendor id: 1033 Device: 0194 Sub-vendor id: FFFF Nec Corporation uPD720200 USB 3.0 Host Controller Any ideas about what could be happening? I appreciate your help. Thanks a lot guys! Happy Holidays, Jay Cee.
2. Hi Guys, happy new year y'all ! I installed a full retail version of Snow Leopard 10.6 (no updates) on one of my machines using tonymac's ##### method. Everything works fine, but when the system goes to sleep it does not wake up no matter what I do. My only option is press and hold the power button and do a hard reboot. Is this a kext issue? If so, which one should I install? Specs: motherboard Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2P with Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.66 GHz, 4 Gigabytes of RAM, video GeForce 9500 PCIe 1 Gigabyte, HD Samsung SATA II 500 Gigabytes, USB mouse and keyboard. Thanks in advance, Jay Cee

How do I change Lion splash / wait screen?

Problem solved and thank you, guys! Aill I had to do was edit the boot.plist file and set the Legacy Logo flag to No. Fast and easy.
4. Hi guys, I would like to change the wait screen that has a grey apple logo and 'progress circle' that comes BEFORE the log in screen. Snow leopard had a beautiful chromed apple logo on a off white background, that's what I want. Any ideas? Thanks

OS X Lion on CCE Laptop model Iron 787P

UPDATED NEWS: Ok guys, believe it or not, I got Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 running on my CCE model Iron 787P Laptop, and people said it couldn't be done! They simply didn't try hard enough. I simply followed tonymac's tutorial at: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/#####-install-mac-os-x-lion-using.html VERY IMPORTANT: I had to use an external usb keyboard after installation because it didn't recognize the laptop's own keyboard!!! Also, it is necessary to use the flag USBBusFix=Yes at the Lion boot prompt, but after you update to 10.7.2 you don't have to do that anymore. All I have to do now is configure audio, ethernet and wireless. Video seems ok.

GeForce 9500 GT driver

Has anyone experienced system instability after installing NVEnabler84.kext ? It started happening to my machine after I installed it, and it worked fine before, but with the low resolution setback. Just wondering...
7. Hi guys, the problem was solved by installing own manufacturer kext and rebuilding permissions and cache. Happy New Year everyone!
8. Hello guys, has anybody here ever tried installing OS X Lion on a CCE laptop model Iron 787P ? I've been trying to, using ##### + retail version of Lion 10.7.2. It boots and gets to the installation screen, but it does not recognize the touchpad and keyboard, not even an external mouse and keyboard work, which means I can not move forward with the installation. No useful info on this issue so far, only people saying it can't be done. Any thoughts, comments or insights on this will be most valuable. Thanks to all in advance.

GeForce 9500 GT driver

Problem solved guys! I don't know what I was doing wrong, but the NVenabler64 method is actually very easy and worked perfectly when I tried it a second time! PS: Gringo Vermelho, thanks for the topic suggestion!
