Hey everyone!

I have had great success with osx86...my sound works, my internet works, everything is great except for my graphics card which doesnt support QE/CI. Its an NVIDIA. I would like to get a card that works right out of the box with OSX86 because i frankly cannot remember all the tricks and methods that i used to perfect my system to the way it is now. If anyone has any suggestions, please post them! Thanks so much.

Try going to Other World Computing and see if they have the PCI Radeon 9200. It's about the cheapest new you'll get. Now over at Powermax, you could find some steals on older graphics cards, but it takes a lot of searching and little luck

Remember that buying a video card that has a Mac rom (as from Other World Computing) will NOT work in your hackintosh, even if it is running OS X, without flashing it back to a PC ROM. The ROM doesn't care about the OS, it cares about the hardware it is running on, and as far as it is concerned, your PC is still a PC.

Oh, and a 9200 will support QE, but it won't do CI. For that you will need a 9250 at a minimum.
