Hi all,

I'm installing Yosemite to Acer Aspire M5-481TG using Clover however I have problems with waking up from sleep. The symptoms is just the same described http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285218-goes-to-sleep-doesnt-wake/. When it goes to sleep the fan stops, stand by led blinks just as in Windows. However when I wake it up by opening the lid or pressing keyboard or power button, the fan spin up, power led goes up then after ~2 seconds it shuts down and I have to press power button several times to power it up again. I have checked AppleRTC patch in Clover but with no luck. So do I need to patch RTC in DSDT or what else can cause my laptop crash when waking up?

Hi

Check this thread it may help if you are using dsdt:

I solved it by modifying OS detection part in _INI method, spoofing a Windows 2009 (Windows 7) OS. Additionally I patched RTC device and added SMBUS device. I'm not sure which one fixed my problem, but many thanks for the link.
