Allan
You use some modified kext for audio? Use the HDMI port, and if you use Chameleon, try use this option: AtiPorts=3, and this framebuffer: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301378-ati-6670-hda-audio/#findComment-2067524 Share on other sites
alexx65
Method with Bulrushes had no results . My Iatkos has no control panel for Chameleon , only Champlist . Method with HDA Enablers for ALC889 has no multichannel outputs and Rear SPDIF out ...Only motherboard contacts and 2.0 outputs . May be something wrong? jamiethemorris
You need to patch the connectors in the framebuffer. Use the Bulrushes framebuffer for your AtiConfig, and do this: -Download HexFiend http://ridiculousfish.com/hexfiend/ -Drag /System/Library/AMD6000Controller.kext to the desktop. -Right click and do Show Package Contents -go to Contents/MacOS and open the AMD6000Controller binary with HexFiend -search for this (make sure "Hex" is selected and not "Text") and select it: 000400000403000000010000110201010004000004030000000100002103020200040000040300000001000012040303000400000403000000010000220504040004000004030000000100001000050500040000040300000001000020010606 -In the Replace box put this: 040000000403000000010000110201061000000004030000000100002103020100080000040300000001000012040303000400000403000000010000220504040004000004030000000100001000050500040000040300000001000020010606 -Now click Replace. -Save the file, and install your new AMD6000Controller.kext with kext utility. This worked for me on my 6670, but YMMV. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301378-ati-6670-hda-audio/#findComment-2069279 Share on other sites
