themacmeister
Don't know if I can fix this. Just updated to 10.9.5, and still no better. Every time I start up 4 or 5 downloads, my wireless access point stops, and then disappears from the list of available networks. This is most annoying. Also, I have no Locale data in there, and my Country Code is set incorrectly as USA (discovered under System Report). If anyone has any pointers on how to fix this, I would appreciate it very much. This is the final annoyance with a very capable Hackbook Pro. Sound also drops out after sleep, but a logout/login fixes that -- it won't fix the WiFi issue tho. I am in a situation where I connect to a corporate access point (commercial) that I do not have access to, so cannot change any router-based settings. It is getting ridiculous when I have to start watching the laptop constantly when I have 3 or more things accessing the internet at once Any help would be GREAT!!! thanks. PS. When it hasn't crashed, it works flawlessly.
