Hardware specs in my signature, and for your information I'm using a 16GB Transcend USB 3.0 stick as boot device. Any help would be greatly appreciated, would love to give Yosemite a shot! I got Yosemite working but its too much work and I can't get basic features like sleep/wake up using bluetooth working. Im going to try the above method. Having some trouble getting back into the installer (display goes black after verbose boot all of a sudden), but as soon as I'm in the installer I'll copy over the kext and let you know how it goes. Hm, seems my graphics card is having some issues. Tried combinations of -x, GraphicsEnabler etc, but booting stops at 'Missing Bluetooth...'. Any ideas how to solve it?
