Exactly! but this is a problem. If the acpi path is not exposed...then you will not be able to see anything for that card. Ok I'll make the code to not crash when this key is absent. Thanks

give me 20 minutes... need to send a Fax:wink_anim:

Thanks, but I come to PC again about 2 hours and check it :thumbsup_anim:

yes GPU Z app

I can't understand why GPU Engine utilization is visible for old GPU (Andrey1970) and not visible in Pascal GPU

But I do not see indication changes GPU Video Engine Utilization.

I see indication changes GPU Core Utilization.

Hi Andrey1970 that value changes in some cases in Windows (encoding video, playing game and other task )

often is to zero in normal pc usage

@vector sigma

You looked at my three ioreg?

yes, in "watch video.ioreg", "in Rest.ioreg" and "Luxmark.ioreg" the 'GPU Video Engine Utilization" is always 0. So the reading is correct.

Can you give me a translation for this:

"GPU Core Utilization"
"Device Unit %d Utilization"
"GPU Video Engine Utilization"
"Used VRAM"
"Free VRAM"

in Russian?

Hi vector sigma

How is it exposed in ioreg this value?

'GPU Video Engine Utilization"

Thank you

Guys, I think that to see 'GPU Video Engine Utilization' you have to enable something like that:

ok if I have it is in another place

no. it's under PerformaceStatistics (like I guess the above comes from) but is not present in your screenshot.

Оn Russian.

"GPU Core Utilization" = Использование графического ядра
"Device Unit %d Utilization" = Использование устройства %d
"GPU Video Engine Utilization" = Использование видеодвижка
"Used VRAM" = Занято видеопамяти
"Free VRAM" = Свободно видеопамяти

was taken from internet. But I have it in mac OS,  version 2.2.8 but there's a newer version. You have to look here:

ok

thanks @icanaro from macos86.it I have tested test 3 app on a gtx 660

Also there GPU video Engine Utilization is exposed

so maybe it is a driver problem with newer GPU

maybe it is a fermi/Kepler related GPU parameter not exposed on Pascal GPU;)
