avin7000
I was using EDUP N8531 which has Ralink 5370 chipset. I bought it some 6 months ago and now its started showing problems. There is a drop in signal strength and sometimes suddenly internet stops working. I mean it won't get disconnected, for couple of seconds like 40-50 secs, pages stop loading, youtube stops etc. So I am thinking to get a good quality dongle now. I do not have many options as I am not from USA. And from HCL list seems Asus N10 is a good choice. what other options I have? if any USB wifi supports Mac, then it will also work on Hackintosh? since it comes with drivers and all? Allan
All these work in Mavericks: D-Link DWA-131 ($25) ASUS USB-N13 (A1) ($20) EDUP EP-N8508 ($10)
avin7000
All these work in Mavericks: D-Link DWA-131 ($25) ASUS USB-N13 (A1) ($20) EDUP EP-N8508 ($10) EDUP one is not available, however both Asus and D-Link one are. May I know why Asus N13 over Asus N10? and also, if USB wifi officially supports Mac, comes with drives then will it also work in Hackintosh also? Allan
As I told you, the Yosemite is still beta, does not give you certainty. And if it works on a Mac, will work on Hackintosh.

avin7000
Sorry, if I was not clear. What I meant is, which is most famous USB adapter in hackintosh communities. If many people are using it, then someone from community will provide kexts if manufacturer doesn't. Hope I was clear. I am not a native english speaker.
