  1. Have you made the switch?

^It kinda feels weird now, using a machine which comes with OS X pre installed ha ha
  2. Have you made the switch?

    ^thanks @allan...but I made the switch. I bought rMBP 13" 2015 model, 256GB one $1400, $100 less than official pricing during a sale
  3. Have you made the switch?

Any specific model in Leonvo which has a really good screen? Problem is my laptop (Dell XPS) has RGBLED screen and every other screen just looks meh. Dell has discontinued such screens.
  4. Have you made the switch?

Even in India also. The prices are really unfair. But problem is there are no cheaper laptops which have good screens/config, like you get in USA. You either get a cheaper laptop which comes with mediocre screen and okayish config Or you spend you a lot to get a good gaming laptop, which comes with graphics card and all. Now if you are not a gamer (like me), you won't have any choice
  5. Been 4 years, I am using a Hackintosh laptop. It has become old and may die anytime. Now I am wondering whether to buy a new MBP or go with Hackintosh route again. I am pretty sure many of you have been in my shoes. So tell me, what did you do?

  11. [GUIDE] Dell L701X (xps 17 late 2010)

There was lots of dust clogged up in my machine and thermal paste had wore off completely. I had it serviced, now it certainly looks better. The idle temperate is 55-60 and Chrome usage never goes beyond 65-70. However if I start playing some videos, the temperature reaching at 85-87C. what are the temperatures in your laptop? next time when you are watching a movie, can you check after an hour or so?
  12. [Guide] AIO Guides For Hackintosh

So, this about OS X and UEFI Windows 8 on a legacy mode. Today I accidentally discovered that Clover applies DSDT/config.plist to Windows also or may be I am wrong. I booted into windows with basic clover config and saw my screen resolution was not correct. And I did clover installation and booted, but now I see correct screen resolution. So does clover has any influence on windows booting also? If yes, how do I boot into windows without DSDT/config.plist taking effect?
