Actually, inject will work with Clover 2695 (which is what I used) in addition to both 2696 and 2697 (2697 is the latest).

However, you will need a separate kext folder for 10.10 with 2695 - it does NOT create a 10.10 folder for injection.  (Workaround - create a folder for the needed kexts - labeled 10.10 - to drop them into, then copy/paste the folder, contents and all, into EFI/CLOVER/kexts - that is exactly what I did before rebooting.)

While I can only boot from USB for now, that will only be the case until a working Kext Utility for 10.10 is developed.

Just install necessary kexts to S/L/E to your boot drive... Clovers kexts injection is great for building an installer but has little value otherwise unless you need to patch on the fly.

@PGHammer - Why wait for a Kext Utility rather than copy you USB EFI folder to you boot drive?

I think alpha.delta's problem is similar to mine, let me explain.

1. Already had Mavericks running fine with Clover.

2. Created Yosemite USB

3. Installed Clover to USB

4. Copied Mavericks>EFI>Clover>kext>10.9 to USB>EFI>Clover>kext>10.10

5. Installer USB worked fine 'with injected kext'

6. After installation booted to Maverick and installed Clover to Yosemite

7. Copied kext (from step 4) to Yosemite>S/L/E and rebuilt cache

Now when try to boot Yosemite it shows progress bar on black screen and freeze.

so sorry your problem dont like mine.

1. I create usb installer yosemite to usb, I copy hdd/efi/efi to usb/efi

2.copy kexts to usb/efi/clover/kexts/10.10

3.I edit config add boot-args: -v kext-dev-mode=1,config with injectkext

4.I try to boot with usb and wont work.

6.I copy kexts to hdd/efi/clover/kexts/10.10.

5.I boot with hdd and go to option menu add -v kext-dev-mode=1, I install yosemite success,

6.I can boot fresh install yosemite from hdd but I can boot from USB.with same config and same efi, boot folder.

7.I try to copy efi folder to other hdd and wont boot yosemite too.

suggestion dont touch /s/l/e/

I only patch applehda.kext in /s/l/e/

kext utility and any rebuild cache tools can make your system down.

I try to create usb installer with createmedia command but its show me no a valid volume.

same config and same kexts work with mavericks work perfect with yosemite but yosemite need boot flags : kext-dev-mode=1
