Laberlohe
yes, but 10.6.8 max. Well, the Celeron Dual Core T3100 has a Penryn core, but every extension except 64bit and XD-bit are disabled. Afaik the GMA4500 doesn't have QE/CI in any OSX-version - and resolution changing is working under 64bit. So I don't see any reason why not to try Lion or later. Hardware acceleration will lack anyway...

dcai777
sorry for the mistake i thought it was a core duo does it have gma 950 or x4500? cause it might be mobile intel 945 which has gma 950...
Laberlohe
Mobile intel 45 express chipset family Intels codename for this family was "Cantiga". An older review of the R519 stated it would feature GMA X4500M - so I think it's GL40-chipset based.
spakk
I have a samsung rv509, Mountain Lion 10.8.5 runs smoothly, I will today when i have time try to install Mavericks .
Laberlohe
You can't compare rv509 to r519, there are too many differences: rv509 - r519 arrandale core-i cpu - penryn core 2 duo cpu gma hd - gma x4500m in cpu - in chipset calpella platform - montevina platform (cantiga) skipped by Apple - used (with nVidia graphics) in late 2008 MacBook (Pro)
spakk
:D:D Create a DSDT.aml for your system, install the appropriate driver for your hardware otherwise no chance to boot your system. Try to boot with this flags: -v -f cpus=1 npci=0×2000
