OK!

So what i have done: I downloaded Bootcamp 1.1.1 from apple and opend it with Parcifist to get the Windows Driver pack because i wantet to test the new Apple Pro Keyboard drivers for Windows (i have got a problem with my Apple Pro Keyboard under windows; it logs off and then on again after a time and it really sucks on games)

so i tryed to install the whole driver package and it worked (no errors or something - i remember that the 1.1 installation stopped because i donn't have a real mac)

and after reboot I GOT SOUND!!! but my boxes are still on the line in port!

so bootcamp has installed a driver that works under windows SO NO MORE JACK PLUGGING when you use windows and mac os x and have a sigmatel 9220.

and maybe the keyboard is also working now ... im testing :)

so all sigmatel 9220 useres just download bootcamp and install the new fine drivers!

bliss

hi bliss, i have a sony vaio vgn- fe11s laptop. After reading a lot in this forum i managed to make the ethernet work but nothing managed with the sound. I am just downloading the bootcamp and let you know if something happens with the sound or anything else.

Also i got my nvidia ge force go 7400 working but just only for 1280x800 resolution with the latest macvidia driver.

he's talking about drivers for windows, not for osx.. so this won't fix your sound problems under osx

Installed the drivers and yes the sound is now coming out of the same port in both OSX and XP..very cool.

the little icon in the system tray says apple keyboard driver is enabled but the number pad still doesn't accept input, so I assume the driver isn't working correctly (I have a new apple pro keyboard USB)

but well worth the effort if you are tired of switching back and forth between the sound jacks at the back of your box...that was really starting to annoy me.

thanks bliss!

did you try hitting the "clear" button on your apple keyboard? it's like num lock on a normal windows keyboard.

Wow do I feel dumb now- I didn't know the "clear" key was numlock in apple-land.

Happy to report that the entire keyboard is now operational including the numberpad under XP

thanks rollcage

thanks again bliss

cheers
