rlf
Either get a different smbios.plist (in the Extra folder) or delete the file: /System/Library/Coreservices/PlatformSupport.plist I don't know how well your Radeon 2400 is going to work. rlf
Obtain Chameleon Wizard: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/257464-chameleon-wizard-utility-for-chameleon/ In the toolbar of the app, select SMBIOS and then click on "Edit". Choose a premade smbios.plist. Select something like MacPro 5,1. Create an Extra folder at the root of your USB drive and put the smbios.plist in it. Or, you can just delete the file I specified. PippoX0
You must install chameleon on your usb pen, create an Extra folder with smbios. plist and install at least fakesmc.kext on S/L/E. Without all these your pc can not boots Os X Read and follow any guide for hackintosh installation here on forum See ya PippoX0 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294242-p5w-dh-deluxe-cant-install-mavericks-on/#findComment-1972273 Share on other sites

PippoX0
First create an Extra folder on usb. Put kexts and smbios.plist Inside Extra sould be Extentions folder too. Download or use extra from Lion, Mlion if you have or better for Mavericks. Search google is your friend ... If you have chameleon installed , use -v -f flags at boot time to see what cause pc reboot ... Boot and read every error message while pc load kexts. rlf
1. How did you create your USB drive? 2. I think you have hidden files on your USB drive. Turn on all hidden files and see whether there was a hidden Extra folder with an Extensions.mkext inside. To turn on/off your hidden files, read this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/277558-how-can-i-show-hidden-files/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294242-p5w-dh-deluxe-cant-install-mavericks-on/#findComment-1972322 Share on other sites

XanthraX
That's why. Sorry but if you manipulate system files using Transmac, you will corrupt them. Try to find someone with a Mac and a Mavericks install in his Applications. Use MyHack and a 8 G USB pendrive. Expect to wait at least 40 minutes or more until your USB installer disk is done. XanthraX
Some files, example mach_kernel if at once was manipulated from other filesystem, it gets corrupted. Ask someone to give you an installation iso image you can burn it on an USB stick even on windows. I don't remember now what Windows software can clone it bit by bit and not corrupted. XanthraX
Wong iso. You need a Mavericks for Hackintosh. Maybe the iso was created to boot with Clover. You need a Chameleon boot based installer. PippoX0
I guess that you need a mac or hackintosh where create correctly your usb pen. Follow this road you get ( try to create usb pen in windows) can bring you only to face a lot of troubles. Last resouce install virtualization sw like virtualbox or vmware , download a vm with osx on it and from there finally create your usb pen. Not easy and fast but someone use this way to get done. Other way more easy: download an osx distro dvd like iAktos osx lion ,install it and then upgrade to Mavericks I finished the ideas , now is your fault to getting thing done See ya Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294242-p5w-dh-deluxe-cant-install-mavericks-on/#findComment-1973153 Share on other sites

PippoX0
Use USB pen to boot again . This time select Hdd. Welcome screen,Create user, bla, bla. Then install chameleon on hdd ( you need a chameleon 2.2 r2065.pkg ) copy extra folder to hdd. Use kext wizard ( you have to download it) to verify/correct permissions on /extra folder and /System/Library/Extentions folder. Now you can reboot from hdd! That's all You are very closer to finish ....
