YungRaj
I just have one issues after installation I can't see any of my system files at all or any of the content on my hard drive partition that has Mavericks installed on it I tried the terminal methods for showing hidden files, it shows hidden files but doesn't show the hard drive partition for my files inside that hard drive (partition) I would not care about this at all but the thing is that I need to modify my chameleon boot plist to inject the boot flags so I don't know now how to do it lol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294192-after-install-cant-see-any-of-my-files-on-my-hard-drive-partition/ Share on other sites
dcai777
Charmelon Wizard should be able to find it and let you set your settings without hidden files... Gringo Vermelho
You can boot to the desktop but then you can't access your files? The desktop is part of "your files". It's unclear what it is you're trying to access and from where you are trying to access it. This sentence doesn't make any sense: it shows hidden files but doesn't show the hard drive partition for my files inside that hard drive (partition) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294192-after-install-cant-see-any-of-my-files-on-my-hard-drive-partition/#findComment-1971586 Share on other sites
rlf
A picture is worth a 1000 words. Go to an area in Finder where you expect to find files but they aren't there. Then take a screenshot and post it for us to see. A screenshot can be made by pressing three keys simultaneously: Command-Shift-3 The Command key is just to the left of the Space bar. The screenshot will appear on your Desktop. YungRaj
There, I can't access the files inside my hard drive partition inside of finder I also need to have access to the system files inside my hard partition because I have iMessage and the AppStore not working and I especially need the AppStore working because I need to download Xcode 5 The only way to fix the issue of my iMessage and AppStore not working is by using Finder to access files inside my Mac Partition BTW AHCI is turned on and isn't the issue because I can already see my Windows partition and it is named Untitled inside Finder in the pic I sent you guys Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294192-after-install-cant-see-any-of-my-files-on-my-hard-drive-partition/#findComment-1971685 Share on other sites
Crabhunter
Click finder on your menu bar, select preferences then the sidebar tab and select the disks and partitions you want to view.
