I started to install 10.8.3 on my laptop, Lenovo G480, but I kept getting this particular error message that just wouldn't let me do anything further.

The installation process stops everything time at this place:

I've searched for solutions everywhere, http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=888 and http://olarila.com/Patches/Misc/EHCI%20ownership.txt. But when I patched it, I got tons of errors and messages that I just didn't know what to do exactly. The latter solution takes forever to patch the file.

So can anyone patch the aml file?

Much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Here's my system report if anyone needs it.

hello

try this one

if don't boot use again USBBusFix=Yes

attachicon.gifDSDT.aml.zip

good hack

Thank you very much, as I eagerly tried it I found out even with the USBBusFix=Yes present, the error still persists; I am totally puzzled, after all these methods I've tried.

Anyway thank you again for your swift response...

I compared your modified AML with the original one...

Thank you for your patching but... nothing like the two links originally posted? I didn't know if there's anything wrong with my wake/sleep since I can't even get in...

So did you fix the ehci error? If so how? I have a gateway laptop with this issue, and I has already tried every dsdt edit and boot arg and nothing seems to fix it.

Thank you

Nope, far from being resolved. In fact I meant to tried using Clover bootloader because someone said there's this USBOwnerFix option in the menu. Maybe you could try a little bit.

i will see again the dsdt in the night

good hack

I didn't use clover because it doesn't have a Win version...

So this afternoon I did some more digging and finally got the USB working, could you help me to patch the DSDT to use native Apple Intel CPU Power Management?

This is the EHCI-ownership fixed version.

Thank you.
