Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 stupid f#%$ing windows look at my desktop, it wont let me load up my programs by clicking on them, it makes me right click thame and open, but even the some programs dont open. but the taskbar thingy is now staying on the left side of my desktop and i cant get rid of it. this is what it looks like, can anyone help me? rollcage Posted September 30, 2006 Share Posted September 30, 2006 first off, do a system restore if possible, something is definitely screwed up there... if not: no idea how to get rid of the {censored} on the left, but can you right-click on the taskbar, click lock taskbar", and drag it down to the bottom of the screen? have you tried to get rid of all your icons and then put them back? schale01 Posted September 30, 2006 Share Posted September 30, 2006 I would definatly try the system restore. If that doesn't work try creating a new user account restart and login to that account. Some registry settings might have become corrupted. If still no go try doing a system scan with anitvirus/spyware tools. Some description of what caused the problem or what you were doing before this happened would help in troubleshooting the problem. This is all I can tell you with this much information.
