PackBattery.zip

Edited by HUSABER

If you use VoodooBattery.kext-recommended to delete him(or other Battery kext)....

And later install new...

Sorry, did not specify where you drove-Lion or Mountain Lion?

Thanks, I'd already tried the first but the second was a new one to me.

Same result again :( I only get the option to veiw %

Am I doing this right?

Each time I delete the two kexts from S/L/E

Install the new ones with kext beast then reboot.

Then I click the battery icon to try and select time remaining.

It's not a big issue but I prefer to see how long I've got left.

good hack

People are not understanding what you are trying to achieve ...

BUT ...

I have a good reason to believe that in Mountain Lion, ONLY percentage values are displayed next to the battery icon in the menu bar ...

SO, what you want to do IS NOT possible in Mountain Lion even with REAL Macs ...

Ah, that could explain it, one of my other hacks a dell mini 10v will only run Snow Leopard so I had nothing else to compare it to.

That will display time remaining, my new hack will only display % left.

Maybe it's not a fault.

I'll have to go to a Mac shop and fiddle with a real one.
