Crabhunter Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Title says it all really, I have tried loads of battery kexts and acip combinations and whilst every one has worked none give the option of showing time remaining although clicking the battery icon does show the time remaining. I can't get it to display like on the picture you show. ???? Every time I try a new battery or acip kext I delete the old ones and restart. Maybe I need a dsdt edit? Same result again I only get the option to veiw % Am I doing this right? Each time I delete the two kexts from S/L/E Install the new ones with kext beast then reboot. Then I click the battery icon to try and select time remaining. It's not a big issue but I prefer to see how long I've got left. I have a good reason to believe that in Mountain Lion, ONLY percentage values are displayed next to the battery icon in the menu bar ... SO, what you want to do IS NOT possible in Mountain Lion even with REAL Macs ... Crabhunter Posted March 5, 2013 Author Share Posted March 5, 2013 Ah, that could explain it, one of my other hacks a dell mini 10v will only run Snow Leopard so I had nothing else to compare it to. That will display time remaining, my new hack will only display % left. Maybe it's not a fault. I'll have to go to a Mac shop and fiddle with a real one.
