JasonMillerLimited Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 I have installed Callisto and now I can change the resolution but it has not enabled QE/QI any idea on how to do this I have looked and tryed to edit the ATIRadeon9700GA.plugin but dont know how to do it. aberracus Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 theere is no QE CI support now for your card, the more rapid solution is to dig it and buy a new card like an ati radeon x1600xt (not ati brand), go for asus or gigabyte or other. So it is not enough to put device id into the Info.plist we also need slight mod to the driver code........ Just make sure you've got PCI Express; AGP people seem to have some kind of chronic problem getting theirs to work. I also had 10.4.6 before and the instructions call for 10.4.4 or 10.4.5 will this upgrade hurt this process in any way.
