It's hard to believe that you have been a member here since 2008. Please stop writing in all caps.

What do you mean "how do I post links"?

Click edit, then click the button that says "Use Full Editor" to upload files. DSDT must be zipped.

DSDT overriding is pointless If you haven't made any changes to your DSDT (not counting fixing compiling errors). All you are doing is overriding your DSDT with the same DSDT - nothing changes.

I doubt DSDT is the right place to fix your black screen issue.

What CPU do you have, what video card? What's your install method?

What is it that your trying to accomplish by patching DSDT? Firewire? ML already installed? So far it just looks like difference between GE=Yes and GE=No unless you added GPU injection to DSDT?

u have unedited dsdt to upload? your south bridge ICH8 right? Also what audio codec? Upload lspci output too, using -b -nn flags like this:

lspci -b -nn > ~/Desktop/lspci.txt

here is lspci.zip if you don't have it

for clean unpatched DSDT, use windows to extract it and upload. For lspci, download from link above, double click to install, then copy/paste terminal command from above and the results will be in a text file on your desktop so you can upload that too.
