Tony James
Thought I'd throw up a few success pics of my dual screen setup. Hardware: Pentium 4 3.0Ghz on a intel D915gavl ADD2-N video card with Silicon Image 1364 Software Osx86 10.4.6 Image That's it! Everything just works and even the instll was in dual displays. I'm running both screens at 1680x1050 and the performance is decent, but GMA is by no means a monster at graphics. hisham
Hey guys, I'm running a Dell Inspiron 9300 with an nVdia 6800 Go 256 MB. The card has an external DVI port that I have connected to a 21.3" Samsung 213T LCD. By using the laptop's Fn keys, I can switch displays between both, the internal LCD and the external one. How can I get a dual display setup going? I am using the latest macvidia drivers. Thanks! wdgoldstein
Hey Guys, I have my Hackintosh running with an ATI X1600 and get only a mirror display (using Boris patch) Has anyone figured out how to get extended desktop? I also have a 2nd video card (ATI 7000 PCI) for a third display. I've about given up hope of getting that one up and running with a Hackentosh. Has anyone found a PCI card that will work alongside with a PCI-E Radion? in OSX 10.4.7? I just installed a d915gagl and am waiting on my add2-n 1364 to arrive. I went ahead and quickly loaded 10.4.7 jas repack for grins while I wait for the card. Have you had problems with USB? My USB switchbox mouse/keyboard works fine, but none of the other USB ports work with devices. Rhy
That "add2-n dvi" you guys are referring to, that's the same DVI card included included in the Asrock Conroe945G-DVI package? So when I buy this mobo I'm assured of being able to run dual monitor? update ... ok ... to answer my own question: - http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=24637 - http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=26010 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28170-dual-displays-working-like-a-charm/#findComment-226071 Share on other sites
