Foxic
The word client implies you are selling this as a product. Depending where you are in the world, this may be illegal. BE VERY CAREFUL, YOU DO NOT WANT APPLES LAWYERS BREATHING DOWN YOUR NECK. With that out the way, and re-wording your post slightly: I want a hackintosh and want to update it from 10.6.2 to 10.6.8 so that I can play Angry Birds (idiot) Angry birds is epic dude, dont diss :wink2: Right...system hardware? Run lspci from ubuntu/some flavor of linux terminal. Post the output. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/274717-update-1062-to-1068/#findComment-1786813 Share on other sites

Foxic
I feel I should draw your attention to the Apple Vs. PsyStar lawsuit! That is hardly a comprehensive system spec! 1. Download carbon copy cloner 2. Clone your hard drive to an external drive 3. Boot into external/secondary drive, check everything works 4. Download and install combo 10.6.8 combo update to the external/secondary HDD. 5. Reboot, if it boots, great, use the same method on the internal HDD. If not, boot in verbose and use your internal HDD install to fix the external/secondary drive install. Once fixed, use the same method on the internal drive. Seeing as you are getting 'huge loads of money' for this, how much are you donating to insanelymac? Seeing as this is where you are getting the help from in order to make that money!
