Recently i installed the Lion OS into my hp dv6-2190us laptop.

I have dual boot, windows and mac. installed windows first, and use chameleod 2.1 to enable the dual boot with no problem.

Hardware:

Sound: IDT Audio. have sound output but the volume control is not working

Graphic: Nv GT 230m. work with "Graphic enabler", Brightness level is not working.

Wireless: Bcm43225. not working. bought another mini card (AR9285) to replace the original one.

Lan: work with Realtek 81XX kext

Keyboard and Touchpad: work with the kext pack from osx86, but the guesture works occasionally.

It is still buggy

in the Chameleod Wizard, i only checked a few options as shown in the attachment

random cpu panic occurs when starting the laptop. if keep trying hard reboot it, one to three trials will make it boot in to Lion OS X.

Is there a way to fix the random panic? I wasn't able to do a DSDT patch since i am a n00b in the osx86. does the DSDT patch will help to fix the random panic?

Anyone who has info to deal with the problems above, please do post a reply and will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Volume control have been fixed by editing the info.plist inside the kext package. Let "VoodooHDAEnableVolumeChangeFix" entry to be "true" before installing the kext.

I have tried to patch the DSDT, no luck for know. those problems still persist.

and i found that, the brightness level can be actually changed by changing it in windows system and then reboot back to mac.

anyone are good at patching the dsdt? please enlighten me!! i really need help!!!!

here is my untouched DSDT file
