Claudio A.
Hi there. I will try to describe the problem with the best level of detail because this is REALLY weird. I was using my ASUS u36S-A1 with a modified DSDT and chamaleon with 10.7.2 (11C74), both modifications from this post: http://www.insanelym...howtopic=270686. Everything was working perfectly, I mean I've booted my machine like 200 times or more. At least one month of usage. So yesterday I boot my machine and I see: boot0: done So, I said.. ok something may have happened, I will reinstall chameleon from my usb memory stick, the usb memory stick which I refear, I have use it like 300 times during the installation, when I connect the USB to boot from it, I see: / 'Memory allocation error! Addr=0xdeadbeef , Size=0x0, File=hfs.c, Line=723 So, I cannot boot from my harddrive for the boot0:done error, and I cannot boot from my usb for the deadbeef error. Just want to share this situation in light that someone may guide me to solve my problem, I really don't know how to proceed. Any comment or idea will help me. Claudio A.
Anyone? I have detected that the problem is related with the hfs partition, I was using MBR with four primary partitions. It seems that Chameleon could not read the hfs partition. Really weird problem....
