staion
First of all, I want to "say" a big HI to all of you MAC lovers. Second, I do have a FS Amilo Li2727 and I had installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on it before and it worked great, but my concern is that I noticed the fan of my laptop was a bit "working too hard", I think. I would like to know if I can run this version of MAC on this version of laptop without any problems, just like it runs with Win7, that I'm running right now...oh, I really miss MAC , but I really don't want to harm my laptop, I really need it. What do you guys think?! I also tried to upgrade it to 10.6.8, but didn't worked anymore... Yeah, the laptop has 2GB of RAM. Thanks in advance and happy holly days to you all!!! xx66stangxx
What version of OS X are you talking about? I know from experience that some laptops, especially older ones have bad air flow causing the internal parts to become hotter while running. So that could be the case with your fans working too hard. staion
Okay so after the installation of Mac, I think it did something to my bios, or a part of it. When I first start the system on Windows, I don't get the option to press F8 anymore like I did before I installed Mac. Is it possible that Mac did this? If so, how to revert it? Please help. staion
Okay...I got Mac OS X SnowLeopard 10.6.2 together with Windows 7 and the Mac works great again, except for that overheating problem. My fan works like crazy but the hd is just @40 degrees celsius...I don't seem to have a fan sensor or even a cpu one(if exists). @artur-pt, please explain me how to do the DSDT thing and what is with that appleintelcpupowermanagement? Please help me guys, I'm really very new at Mac, but I LOVE it!
