blade5502
Do you have edited/replaced other Kext's in /S/L/E? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/265687-occasional-kp-boot-107/#findComment-1736059 Share on other sites
smartie77
Do you have edited/replaced other Kext's in /S/L/E? same answer as to anyone with KPs in Lion : Even real Macs have them in Lion every now and then. Lion is totally bug ridden. This must not have to do with hackintoshing. Try Snow; if in Snow all is good ( its the most stable OSX ) , then you know the answer. 10.7.2 might bring the big fixes that Lion needs. 10.7.1 does not help much. Strahd
Same problem here with 10.7.1 on HP xw4600. I actually get 1 in 5 successful boots. I have found however that if I remove any USB device (even keyboard and mouse) I am more likely to boot without KP. JBraddock
I would say try removing FakeSMC.kext's plugins, IntelCPUMonitor.kext and RadeonMonitor.kext, and see what happens. My only problem with Lion is the bluetooth performance. It is not very stable. Noam AA
did you patched appleRTC? seems like it the problem, if you did, try using 10.6.8 (appleRTC v1.3.1) and see if it cure your problem Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/265687-occasional-kp-boot-107/#findComment-1750867 Share on other sites
