I bought MSI K9N Ultra MB (nForce 570) AM2, Athlon 64 3500+ (orleans), DDR2-800 (Kingmax 512 MB dimm) but I can't even start installation because "Restart" screen shows after apple logo shows on screen.

In verbose mode (-v) I get something like this:

...

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x001085EE): copy_window_init: cpu > num_cups

Debugger called: <panic>

Backtrace...

...

some hex numbers

...

Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0x0

Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies):

com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform (1.0.3)

depedency: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(1.9)

depedency: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily (1.2.0)...

Turning off ACPI in bios crushed it even earlier :)

Thats odd, I have an Asus M2n-SLI Deluxe with the nForce 570 sli chipset and I have performed installs with jas, HotISO and goatse, the standard stuff doesnt work but can be over come. Try reburning it at a slower speed.

Which drive did you install your OSX? My motherboard is nForce 570 SLi chipset too and I can't install OSX on my SATA harddrive. Did you install it to your PATA harddrive?

Have the same issue, (same mobo)

Maybe OSX doesn't like MSI K9N :)

Tried intalling JaS OS X.4.7 on an MSI K9N Platinum (nForce 570, not SLi) with an Athlon 64 3800+ AM2 Socket with SSE3 (Not Athlon 64 X2 3800+) and get the same problem as EasyViber and depeo... However, the DVD did boot on an nForce3 150 with an Athlon 64 3200+ 754 Socket and SSE2.

In case anyone comes back to this thread i installed the AppleNforceATA.kext from Medevil and found a huge boost in Xbench.

I am however getting a system freeze quite often, i believe it is caused by forcedeth but i am unsure, can anyone relate or shed any light into the subject?
