berchielli Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 Hi, I downloaded 2 diferents ISOs. Goatsecx 10.4.6 and JaS 10.4.6. I burned 3 times and all have the same problam. During the instalation, I have to reboot the PC. I applied the right patchs for my system. I tried install with VMware on a partition and boot with Acronis OS Selector, but I have a "I/O error". My PC: Sempron 64 2800+@2500mhz SSE3 1gb ram Sansung X800GTO 256/256 Powercolor Asrock K8NF4G-SATA2 Plz, help! Have u tried installing natively via VMWare to the physical HDD partition.. bcoz it shud work..that way..and also i wanted to ask that when u boot with VMWare..how much does the setup goes upto.. rkwok Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 try selecting sse2 instead of sse3, also I had tried the K8NF4G with A64-3000+ three months ago and the installation works just fine, the only thing i don't like was the ob video, other than that everythings works. Since I only install Mac OSX on the HDD, so never encounter any issue, you might want to try that as well, it will give you less hassle. Since I only install Mac OSX on the HDD, so never encounter any issue, you might want to try that as well, it will give you less hassle. Yes, I'm using Daul Booting. I gona buy a 10gb used HD.(only for test) After that, I tell if works. Good bye!
