ifrit05
Don't post a Kernel Panic Log in a codebox. Your better of attaching it to your post so we can download it. Adam Crowell
Yes ok, here is the crash file attached to the post. Â or you could get backtraced copy by booting into the verbose mode. Art2Fly
Well, I am kinda new at this, I'm not going to lie. I booted into verbose mode using chameleon and then it crashed again and I just took a picture of the text... It is a clear picture, but if I need to do something else, please let me know how to get the log in text. I really want this issue resolved as it is quite annoying and renders the hackintosh not usable for more than 5 minutes... attachments.zip Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258978-someone-help-me-read-a-log/#findComment-1697430 Share on other sites

Art2Fly
Yeah, I figured it out last night. It had to do with my graphics card, and the real bummer is that there is no known fix unless i update to Lion, which im not going to yet :/ Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258978-someone-help-me-read-a-log/#findComment-1697834 Share on other sites
Gringo Vermelho
Which graphics card? Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258978-someone-help-me-read-a-log/#findComment-1697847 Share on other sites
Art2Fly
It is the 460M, and I spent about 2 weeks looking at possible fixes... there were NONE that fully worked on Snow Leopard, however Lion fixed it. So I checked my email for my developer preview of lion and installed that and boom, no more random panics. Gringo Vermelho
Just for the record, crashes and kernel panics are fully resolved for me on my GTX 460 when I leave VLC running in the background playing a video.
