But sincerely, i'm a little noob too in this matter so, don't take my words for gold... Try to extract the kext you see that are updated from the updates of apple and try to see if they crash the system or not. Maybe it would be wise to try them 1 at a time so you can keep the count of what is keeping the system alive and what's not... Bye ^__^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Karakino gave you the solution: download the specific update package (I assume that is 10.4.5), open it with Pacifist and extract the kexts you need.
