tripleboot
Did you partitian it prior to install to a primary Fat32/FreeBSD so your OSx86 recognizes it. You can also disable the SATA. macssam
I never used any prior partition or format the mac disc utility does it all and recognizes many disk formats best is to insatall osx86 on a second HD in the install go to costomize click on the arrows and you will see which patches you need you can add patches later some cards like firewire can cause problems remove anything you dont need from your machine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25838-how-can-i-make-the-mac-osx-jas-1047-see-and-read-my-sata-harddisk/#findComment-175674 Share on other sites

graphic Design
I have 2 HDD 1- Quantum 20G IDE ==> Fat32/NTFS ==> MAC can detect Only this HDD and I installed MAC OSX on already. 2- Maxtor 120G SATA (intel chipset) ==> NTFS ==> MAC can't detect this one (I never see this HDD when using MAC). I installed Windows XP on. I thing I have all kexts from HDD which install MAC OS (and I have DVD Disc Jas 10.4.6 + Update 10.4.7 for intel)! So I have only one way: Install Mac in Quantum 20G IDE and Windows XP SP2 in Maxtor 120G SATA. I really want to make MAC can read the Maxtor HDD because all data I put in there and my IDE HDD have not much space more! Thank you Guedes Jr again!
