I'll leave it then cause I think Boot Camp makes it FAT32.

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!??! My mom's HP doesn't want to turn on. Like it turns on cause all the lights are on, but nothing's going on on the inside. Any money says she's gonna blame me. And it worked perfectly fine when I used it. Any ideas what it could be anyone?

Been there, tried that. Still nothing.

Today is just not my day. I'm trying to Boot-Camp XP and it gets to the blue screen where it starts the install but then says 'Restart in blah blah blah' cause all the files were copied or whatever. Sure enough, restarts, but goes no further with the install. Goes right back to that blue screen where you pick the partition. I am going to go {censored} INSANE.

Remove all possible components including CMOS battery. Leave for a hour unplugged and powerless. Then reassemble and boot. Good luck, may the force be with you, young computer hacker.

(Sorry, Star Warez got into my head)

Sky, you sound a little sour towards Prawker. :D

I can't unplug everything. I tried to get into the HDD once and I stripped the screw. Other than that, I can take out the battery, the ram and something else that I haven't unscrewed yet. Take that apart and leave it sitting around abit?

@Bedlight, yeah do what MoC said. Unplug it and let it sit for a bit (for the HP.)

But it doesn't matter now cause XP won't {CENSORED} install!

Has anything with the configuration of your HDDs changed? Are you formating prior to each install? If you have more than 1 HD, unplug all of them except for the one that you want XP to install to.

Ohhh its a Macbook. {censored} man, don't no what to tell you other than that I envy you: the Macbook is the leetest Mac ever!

Does my XP problem have anything to do with the fact that I don't have a real XP CD?

Bingo.

Vista Ultimate 32-Bit OEM ($169.99)

Vista Ultimate 64-Bit OEM ($189.99)

XP MCE 2005 32-Bit OEM ($114.99)

(Get Vista, it doesn't make sense to get XP when Vista is only $50 more.)
