Jedisinclair
I am trying to figure out how to get "sound in" to work. Is there a mobo that works for sound in? Or is there an external (usb) sound card that works for sound out and IN ? I've searched the HCL and no luck. I'm using JAS 10.4.7 on an Asus P5GV-MX. Thanks for any help. rufianmelancolico
Jedisinclair, I have the same problem. If you make a search you will find that there are some usb cards that seem to work. I'm thinking about buying a griffin imic. Check this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...hl=griffin+imic Good luck!! miramar
For sound in I'm using a few different devices. A Logitech USB Premium Headset 350, Ipevo Free-1 Skype phone, Ranger RUP-200 skype phone and a small little USB device with analog sound in and out. I also have a Soundblaster Live 24bit external which I haven't tested yet but is spose to work. mir... CyBrian
i tried using mic and line in on my soundmax mobo to use garageband. when i turned on the monitor thing to make it play my guitar through my speakers i had a huge echo (really strange considering i got it even when my guitar was unplugged...) but i was able to play fine with the monitor off Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25389-sound-in/#findComment-175619 Share on other sites
