kevin_4e
Hello, I am trying to find a WMA converter. I tried SoundConverter and EasyWMA's demos but I'm looking for a free WMA file conveter. If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25209-wma-converter/ Share on other sites

kevin_4e
But iTunes can only convert under the Windows version. I'll try VLC. Thanks a ton for all the help. tneely
Hi.. I had the same problem. so i looked for some app that can do the wma to mp3 converting. I didn't find nothing that can do the job, so I used quicktime (with flip4mac installed) to convert them to aiff and then itunes does the job to turn them into mp3. hope this helps bye Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25209-wma-converter/#findComment-170993 Share on other sites
Pu7o
Get mplayer, then type: "mplayer -ao pcm:waveheader file.wma", and it'll output an "audiodump.wav" file. xtraa
Hi, A soulution that converts everything into something is SoundConverter (Universal) Just select desired formats and drag and drop any audio. Not all wma encodings are supported, but have a look at the site how many input/output and even ringtone formats this baby does. I will give it a try //looks fine but crashes. :-( so ffmpegX Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25209-wma-converter/#findComment-171602 Share on other sites
