Hi,

I realize this might not be the better place for this topic, but as a new user I can only post here, sorry.

I am in a VERY desperate need to run Final Cut Pro 7.

I have managed to install and run macOS 10.6 (Hazard mod) in my Intel/nVidia PC.

However, after installing Final Cut it shows the opening screen, asks for an external device, then crashes.

I've searched a dozen of osx86 forums and googled a bit and everywhere people say "just rename your ethernet interface to en0 etc", however I just can't!!! If I do edit the networkinterface.plist file, or even remove it, it just reverts back when I reboot. If I remove all the detected interfaces from "system configuration -> network", when I try to manually add a new one, it shows only a firewire. (it does not automatically detect anything, also).

My machine configuration is as follows:

- Mainboard: Intel DG43GT

- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 6400

- RAM: 2 x 2Gb DDR2 800 (4gb total)

- Offboard video: MSI nVidia GeForce 6600 128MB

- Hard Disk: 149gb IDE/PATA

My modded macOS: Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard

(installed as Intel/10.6.2/PC-EFI 10.5)

I'd buy an official copy of macOS happily if it would help, but paying about $5.000 ~ $8.000 for the mac only and then $2.600 (official price in the Brazilian mac store) is a little off my budget, considering I'd be using it for a week while I study for an exam, and then I'd return the computer (after wiping macOS and reinstalling windows) to the original owner.

My other only option is renting a computer on a macstore/mac center/whetever they're called and the guys there charge $150/hour.

Oh well, in that case (personally) I'd agree with you, it is a different matter.
