TheDirTchamber Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Hi guys, Has anyone successfully installed S3 on this mainboard? I tried booting from dvd, but it always gets stuck at "netkas presents fakesmc....". Also, installing via vmware worked, but booting SL resulted in the same problem, no matter what flags I'm using. So, any ideas? A mod please delete the other topic, sorry for the double post. Forum issues, apparently. carlolaitano Posted April 17, 2011 Share Posted April 17, 2011 I was able to install. I booted from the DVD with "-v -x CPUS=2". You'll have to be patient though. I let it run with verbose mode and waited even with it wouldn't move forward. Eventually it boot from the DVD to give me the install dialog.
