Hi,

I've got 2 problems with my Hackintosh PC.

Problem 1: I've got no sound. ^_^ I have the onboard avance ac97 5.1 soundcard.

Problem 2: I cannot use the 1440x900 resolution. In system preferences can i only set 1024x768 as resolution. I use an Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP 8x 128mb

does a someone have solution for these two problems?

You need to do some searching, Click on the Search Link at the top of the page.

As for your resolution problem, with ATI Cards the Callisto Framebuffer Driver allows custom resolution and refresh rates (I am using callisto now with 1440x900) However, I'm not sure if it will work for nVidia cards. Again searching the forum should provide you with some answers.

For the Nvidia card, you need to investigate the Macvidia drivers at http://macvidia.starchaser.org and for the AGP situation, check out this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=20139

@Xeijin: I've searched for my problems, but nothing works for me!

@Rammjet: I've installed the Nvidia driver for Mac OS X (the latest version) but as you can see on my screenshot, it don't works!

I've already said that the Nvidia driver don't works for me! And all solutions for the ac97 on the forum and wiki don't works for me!
