I'm running a G31M motherboard. It ran the other sleepenabler patches without a problem -- now I can't wake from sleep. -- Do I need to change pmVersion=20 in com.apple.Boot.plist? The applehda command is this: sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x85\x08\xec\x10|\x62\x06\xec\x10|g' /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleHDA (A quick question: do you have mute option?) Maybe the sleepenabler kernel panic is some file permission problem for me... ileikcaek Posted November 12, 2010 Share Posted November 12, 2010 I am another with the 10.6.5 sleep enabler problem but I was fine with 10.6.4 and the 10.6.4 sleep enabler. It didn't kernel panic as such but the boot process just stalls. it says something about DSDT.aml not being found and then stops. The problem is I don't use DSDT as I have not crafted one. I have it perfectly ok without one. I had to boot into windows and delete sleep enabler to get back in. So could be either problem for me. Wondering if there is going to be another version released that's not dependent on 10.6.5 applehda. I tried recompiling a new dsdt, and removed nullcpupowermanagement.kext; not such a good idea because my computer couldn't restart after that. So I've reinstalled it, with chameleon RC5, and have made changes to Boot.plist to generateP and C states, but computer still can't sleep, and now everytime my computer boots up I get CMOS checksum errors; something about a "POST ERROR". So obviously theres something wrong with the DSDT file. Don't know what to do....
