Hey,

Im from australia and am looking for a new decent 24" monitor preferably with DVI and HDMI, but dont fully matter. The current monitor i have is out of date and hence want to upgrade to something larger.

I was looking at the Samsung BX2450 but am wondering if anyone can suggest anything better/cheaper?

cheers

I like the Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM monitor I have. It came with the height adjustable stand which is very stable since the monitor is pretty big. Plus they can rotate up to 90 degrees. The other option is to use one of those arms attached to the wall and then you don't need a good stand. I have 2 of these connected with dvi to a GTX260 card. Sometimes I get a scrambled screen when waking the screen (just for a moment), but only once in a while, and I haven't noticed it happening with Windows. Other than that little glitch, they are beautiful to use.
