Thats not compatible you need at least 10.6.4 and possibly graphics update. With the correct "boot" loader.

Try ##### 2.5 Unified Graphics Support

Then you should be able to install try following this method here.

Thanks, tonymac

I am already stuck at formating the SSD

i think that the HD5850 is not relevant to this problem at all

but it will be useful when i'm done installing MAC OS X

thanks for help ;)

and if u have any idea plz inform me

thanks in advance :D

Yes: http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=06316

You need a primary (active) partition formatted as HFS+

i formated the SSD with this program as HFS+

but i can't select this HDD to install mac on in Mac OS :)

although it is formated by HFS+ (not jornaled) cuz i can't find it in parted magic

and i used ##### and mac os still read the SSD as an external drive ;)

i tried several HDDs with different cables and slots

still being read as an external drive

what about BIOS Update ???

did you have another OS installed ?

if you can, please try a Linux Version, SysrescueCD !

and try to format your HD, to see if there's a similar Problem !

check the ' dmesg ' output, like :

dmesg | grep sd

I Already tried magic parted

but it only formates the SSD as HFS+ ( Not Journaled )

so i can't install mac os x on it

does this one make any differance

check the ' dmesg ' output, like :

dmesg | grep sd

can u explain further ?? :help:

i don't understand a thing from this biggrin.gif

can u tell me what's wrong smile.gif

is it from Hdds or mac os ?

and how do i solve it

this is really strange !

what about BIOS, it's a current one ???

and maybe there's a Firmware Update for the SSD !!!

with PartedMagic, please look if there are all the modules you need for ' hfs+ ' :

type :

lsmod | grep hfs

did you ever installed any kind of OS on this SDD ?

ok, please try just :

lsmod

and look if there's anything with ' hfs ', if not then you can load this modules :

modprobe hfs

and

modprobe hfs+

i don't know if ' macdrive ' can create HFS+ Partitions  !

did you try to install with only one SSD connected ?

in BIOS deactivate all the ' serial ' and unneeded stuff.

i'am really curious, why your kitten don't want to play with you :D;):( !!!

I have formatted the ssd as hfs+

But it is not journaled so I cant install Mac os on it

Don't u know how to enable journaling without disk utility

i read somewhere that ' journaling ' format with Linux is not possible !!!

when you about to format inside the OSX installation, what does the ' Installer Log ' say ???

there's really something wrong !

is there any ' IDE ' Hardware in your System ???
