Thanks for doing the dsdt.aml for me, Mald0n. Much appreciated. I installed it in my /Extra folder, removed all other instances and tested it. Unfortunately although it will go to sleep, this mobo will not return from sleep; it puts that message about the Hibernation file is too old or something. Is it a defect with the mobo mesmo or can I do something in software to make it come back up?

Thanks.

Thanks MaLd0n,

quick question: I did not have a patched dsdt when I made the sendme.zip, I used ##### and a couple other kexts, should I keep all the kexts that have been installed? Another note is that right now my cpu is recognized as a 2.4 when it is a 2.53 in actuality, will any of these things have effected the dsdt you made in a negative way?

Send me kextstat

run on terminal

cpu recognized

Chameleon RC5 or smbios

Hi Mald0n,

Would you be able to patch my DSDT for QE/CI under Lion?

Would I have to boot the system in 32bit mode or can I boot it in 64bit mode?

Thank you for your time

All the best,

NSCXP2005

GMA950 only in 32

Hey Mald0n,

Me again. Is it also possible to fix sleep (and possibily HDA?) Because I don't seem to figure that out. Mobo is Asus P8H67-M Pro B3

Original and edited DSDT included (which has Power Management and reboot already fixed).

Thanks in advance!

AppliArt

your DSDT ok

soon

el coniglio will launch the new version

Did you mean the reason things are not working with SMC monitor on Lion is due to SMC monitor?

Send me kextstat

try with ForceWake=Yes

send me kextstat

do you use 10.6.8 or lion?

CST in 10.6.8 or lion

ioreg -lw0 | grep AICPMVers

'ForceWake=Yes' displays "Header read size 200, Incorrect image signature" and boot as normal (not return from sleep).

I am using Lion

ioreg -lw0 | grep AICPMVers

Thanks so much for your help.

the problem may be with the video card

I have no idea

Hello MaDlOn,

Can a dsdt cause a 0xdeadbeef memory error? I had my ga-h55m-ud2h GT430 that you created the dsdt for running for a few days and just restated getting the dead beef thing. I've done some searches and it seems like its related to graphics enabler = yes but I cant figure out why it just started. I've been reading about DSDT's, why are all of the resources in Portugese? I mean I know there are hackintoshes every where but man it seems like Brazil has taken over the DSDT's. Well thanks CFI

I have no idea about it

post a photo :)

If you've never heard of it its probably not dsdt. I'm at work so I cant send a picture but happens when chameleon is going through the first 4 boot files before you can enter in any boot tags, I think I will try boot with another disk and try a different version of chameleon. I read to try graphicsenabler=no but I wont get video with the nvidia gt430. Thanks for all the help. CFI

My machine works, except the USB - only several work, usb 3.0 ports are a no go right now. It sleeps, but wakes up to the bios and computer restarts to OSx. Perhaps a bit of DSDT tweaking can improve functionality. I tried some DSDT fixes with DSDT fixer.

Attached is the file you requested we send in your initial post.

Basic specs:

OS X: 10.7

Mobo: ASRock P67 Extreme6 B3 Intel P67 ATX

CPU: Intel i2500k overclocked to 4.6ghz (with aftermarket air cooling)

Ram: 8gb Corsair Vengeance

GPU: EVGA Nvidia 9800gtx+ running dual displays #1: 1920x1080, #2:1680x1050

Your help is appreciated kind sir.

I have an acer aspire 5738g Laptop and want to swap out the sata blu ray disk drive for a second SATA HDD caddy to go in the disk drive bay. I wouldn't have to change my patched dsdt if I did this would I as both plug into a SATA port? Thanks.

Hi Madl0n,

I tried to install Lion with your guide. I'm using an HP Dv6 (i7 core sandy bridge) laptop, so I had some issues with the boot loader (I finally succeeded using last Chameleon version from trunk and Taptun's Lion Kernel). Now I'm stuck with the DSDT Auto-Patcher, 'cause it gives me some parsing errors (I tried to use the HP - DV6 i Core Pack). I installed NullCPUPowerManagement, AHCI PortInjector and IOAHCIBlockStorage kexts using KextUtility, 'cause during my first test I had a Kernel Panic related to IntelCPUPowerManagement.

I still have IDT Audio and USB3 not working. I have also some issues with GPU (I have switchable graphics and OSX works with Intel HD3000, while ATI HD 6490M doesn't work yet) and with internal Trackpad-Keyboard.

Can I fix some of this problems with a DSDT?

Here is my send_me file.

Thanks for your help!
