windows 7 deleted my mac

today i was useing my computer and i went to boot into my osx partition and it booted my boot loader then all the sudden it showed my windows 7 partition and another windows 7 partition and my usb drive. my osx partition showed up as windows ntfs partition named mac then i went into terminal useing my installer cd and remade my mac partition as active i rebooted same thing. then i booted my installer cd and opened disk ulitly and it said it was unmounted so i right clicked on it and mounted it it came up as a error. then i clicked on more info it said 20.5gb free out of 20.5gb as windows ntfs and i couldn't even use first aid on in so today i has to erase the windows ntfs named "mac" my old osx partition and im doing a reinstall anyone have this issue

please use some punctuation capitalization would help too you will look like a spammer until you type correctly it is also easier to read

Afaik nobody else has this problem. Did you install 7 first then use Disk Utility to partition OSX? If so then you have a problem with MBR and GUID clashing. The only way to install OSx86 with win7 is to not use disk utility to create the mac partition. If you need a guide try mine.

Hello i just did a reinstall of Snow and it is dual booting just fine now im guessing it was a MBR and GUID clash working like a charm. Also I'm sorry for my bad english i don't really have an excuse bad typing? :rolleyes: also i didn't mean to look like a spammer either.

We have recently had an influx of spammers who just show up saying the did something stupid, are too lazy to look it up for themselves, and demand an answer from us.

As long as you don't use Disk Utility to create the HFS+ partition, you should be okay. You might want to try GParted as outlined in my guide here.
