add to kernel flags -force64(check pm):

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>-force64</string>

As mouse acting funky I think you should remove that USBFix flag in your boot.plist

If that does't work than probably its from your audio driver(it just laggs everything if audio driver is bad).

Anyone have AIM that could help me I am doing SOMETHING wrong I have managed to install snow leopard 10.6, using it now, I am downloading the 10.6.4 Combo update. I seem to be getting lost on what to do after that, I think the updates to the guide are whats throwing me off a bit, could anyone help clarify?

i think the mouse is working ok now, i installed the mac driver for it.... i cant really change the speed of it via the mouse in system prefs but thats the least of my worries at the moment.

amd_insn_patcher /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib.patched
cp /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib.patched /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib

for the above code used to patch, do i highlight all of them and paste in terminal or should copy line by line?

Fixed most of my issues, cheated a bit and used the myhack installer after the 10.6.4 combo update, had to switch the kernel from chocolate kernel to the new Mach kernel but everything is working now, my audio I had to get a usb device for, do you have any suggestions for my audio I have the same motherboard as you (Mohamed) I also fixed my gfx issue by getting a different card my radeon HD 3800 was not working so I got a nvidia 9800GT, works just fine.

I also edited the smbios for my hardware the only thing I havent got is the about this mac screen still shows 2.61ghz unknown?

Kp'd on both boot CD's (64 & 32bit) using 10.6 DVD SNOW LEOPARD

I will take screenshot and send

Using external USB DVD drive btw

EDIT: I should add, this only KP'd on my AMD setup (phenom on an nForce 750a), not my intel laptops or my wives AMD Athlon x2

cp /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib.patched /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib

now you finished patching

you need to add to boot.plist

on kernel flags

-force64

this flag important to run on 64bit

This worked great I am now running in 64 bit mode with no app crashes

1 question tho, what's the difference between using -force64 and arch=x86_64 ? Do they do the same?

also, any suggestions on how to fix my About This Mac, it's saying Processor: 2.2 GHz Unknown

again, thanx for the great guide!

the vinalla kernel is consist of two part

one on i386 architcture

and one on x86-64

now AMD kernel cant work on arch x86-64 on future will be fixed

so we work on i386 and it will work 64bits using -forced64

when x86-64 built sucsessfully all program will work with out problems ;)

and about fixing about mac

download lizard program and on smbios section choose the most near option to your pc
