mattnanokid
Hi, this is my first post on the forum, and I need some help. Sorry if this is in the wrong category, so here goes: I used vmware to install Mac OS X 10.4.8 JAs on my 8GB SanDisk Cruzer. After it finished, I rebooted the computer, tried to boot from my flash drive, but it didn't show up. When I went back and chose to boot into windows 7, windows won't recognize my drive at all. It says the drive is an Unknown Device. I've tried installing the drivers, but it is still not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Concha
Does the drive show up when you access the disk utility from your Tiger install DVD? Reformatting it as FAT32 might fix it.
SqueakyMac
if you formatted in HFS (or HFS+) then windows can't 'see' a Mac formatted drive. Try formatting in FAT32 as previously suggested, or download MacDrive 8 trial and see if you can mount it this way. I have used MacDrive to see my OS X86 partition on my primary HDD. Just search MacDrive 8 in Google
