oldtopman
With Snow Leo, do all PPC apps go the way of os9? I'm thinking of upgrading my Hackintosh but then I would lose 4x4 evo 2. Is there a way to run PPC apps in Snow by installing Rosetta on Snow or something.? diafebus
what do you want? OS9 or PPC apps running under rosetta? No Intel machine can run OS9 software, rosetta is designed to run OSX PPC apps. Actualy exists a pair of OS9 emulators. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/224740-rosetta-extraction/#findComment-1509417 Share on other sites

TheDoh123
I want to run OSX PPC apps on Snow. OS9 emu's would be nice as well. Snow Leopard doesn't run ON PPC machines.. that doesn't mean it cannot run PPC apps. Rosetta is not installed by default with 10.6, but its on the OS disc and if you try to run a PPC program that needs rosetta it will prompt you to install it.
