ergot Posted July 10, 2010 Share Posted July 10, 2010 hi all, I have succeeded to install retail SL 10.6.3 on my MB, everything is working fine, after hours of trying and searching this forum and others to I was able to install SL on my SAS HD (as single disk not raid) and my controller is LSI SAS3041X-R, now I can see the card listed in system profile and the attached HD, still I cannot use SL with raid, any solution for that? In my PC I have 2 SAS controllers, 1 as I mentioned above and the other is LSI MegaRaid 9260 4i 6GB/S with 4 attached SAS drives which are not seen during the installation and after the installation BUT when I run EFI studio and run PCI info I can see that he detect the card, see attached, Is there any way I can use/enable this controller in SL?? I REALLY N E E D to use RAID on my system, any help is useful! ! Thanks! Did you follow a guide? I have been searching but have not find a guide to install SL in this Mobo. I have a 10.6.3 retail OS X DVD disc. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks for your answer. Hi, I'm also very curious as to how you got the retail 10.6.3 to work with the WS PRO? I've spent weeks trying to do this and have got to a point where I can install the retail versions of 10.6.3 followed by the 10.6.4 combo update but ONLY with USB drives! None of my SATA drives are recognized during install or afterwards! Could you or anyone else with a P6T WS PRO please give details on your exact install procedure and also possibly add your DSDT file for us as well? Thank you for your assistance.
