Since I have an Athlon XP prcessor, I can only use SSE instructions. Should I emulate the SSE2 and SSE3 instructions on Qemu or simply use PearPC? Any advice would be welcome, and this is mainly for using iMovie. Will it work on VMware? Because according to all those guides on wiki, it won't. Just confirming. I can't get PearPC to work yet so I'm simply trying it on Qemu.

get better hardware. seriously.

yes, now you only have to say... "why didn't the folks at new orleans leave before the hurricane?"

are you going to buy the new hardware for him/her....?

iMovie will not be usable using emulation... hell, TextEdit is barely usable using emulation :P

Check alternatives on windows....

Photoshop Elements comes to mind.... VERY nice program.

Maybe you should try it in another one of your computers... or get a new mobo/processor combo for about $80 or so... that should tell you if you like using OSX or not.

I have been running osx86 under vmware, so I cant tell you the specifics of everything, other than that I recommend that you try doing that (if itll work, I am not sure), and then just see if you like it that way.
