tdtran1025
I never noticed this problem before 'cause I had not used Deep Sleep. But now after waking up from Hibernation, all my USB devices are gone. I had to physically reconnect one to make all work again. How do I fix this?
Beerkex'd
Please post specs when asking for help. Many posts get left unanswered because nobody wants to guess what hardware people have. If you have compatible hardware, you can try this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=168014
ErmaC
I have a similar problem with my old USB keyboard (trust vendor), all USB wake after sleep.. only the keyboard don't... My workaround is run a little utility found in xcode called USBprobe, after this I don't need to unplug and replug my usb keyboard cable.. tdtran1025
I am truly sorry missing the rudimentary elements. My hack is Asus P5Q-Pro- completely vanilla with only modded kext for sound. Keyboard and mouse is Logitech S12 for Mac. The mouse and KB have always worked since my first hack on 10.4 so I never thought of doing anything extra, and they still do, except... After waking from hibernation, by either moving the mouse or tapping KB, the machine wakes up and then locks out the KB and mouse. I have physically unplug the USB dongle and reconnect; then they work again. This only happens after I updated to 10.6.3. They only other kexts I put in my Extra/Extensions folder is: fakemsmc(2.5 for SL) and OSXRestart(1.5c). Oh, I forgot to mention that after 10.6.3, my Airport(bcm4329) won't automatically login after starter or wake.
Beerkex'd
It's a bug in 10.6.3. I heard it's been fixed for 10.6.4. In the meantime look here: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1138
