sorry, I meant 14 not 11.

btw, try this one (without busratio), to which I added some lines specific to cpu frequency. hope it 'd work for u :(

hey but the argument will not work without legacy kernel.

which kexts are u using?

Also, I'd like to see your com.apple.boot.plist & smbios.plist files

:S I don't want use legacy kernel. Darwin is better.

With other rc5 no problem, also with your first work.

ok, first try to boot with those file.

If it doesn't work, I already made beta3 waiting for u to test. Don't worry we 'll get it.

I can provide some feedback too. Installed beta2d. Everything works, but i've lost CPU detection. Your latest branch release works like a charm! :thumbsup_anim:

hey Andrew, that's good news. glad to it did work for you.

no, nothing. Also with your com.apple and smbios, i've the same result, 3.33 ghz.

replace your own files (after backup) with those I 've been providing, reboot, look what happens.

try with beta2b and then beta3

Nope, still Unknown CPU. BTW, you should make, some kind of, auto-updater for your loader and checking set to every 5 seconds, so we would have always the newest version. :thumbsup_anim:
Please do me a favor, post a dump of sysctl -a | grep cpu here, it 'd help see your cpu specs.

btw, you say you 're getting an unknown cpu? and what about cpu and fsb frequencies? are they ok?

this is a test phase, no new release yet. I thought it 'd be wiser to let people test (helping me out a lot) what they 'll get.

CPU - 2.67/Bus - 1.33, so correct. Running @stock speeds, but I can clock it for u, if u want. OK, dump from sysctl attached, but grep cpu does nothin' ;) .

PS: Here is 1:19 AM so i'm gonna go off in a few mins. :thumbsup_anim:

//EDIT:

Aha! So it's one command. :( I've done sysctl -a and selected values related to CPU... but as I found out, | grep cpu will do it for me... :D

dump.rtf

you can try to compare your first release (that works ---4.3 ghz) with your last work. There's some error during cpu detection.
ok, what about this one here beta3b.zip

OK, dump from sysctl attached, but grep cpu does nothin' :thumbsup_anim: .

this is because u forgot "|" between the two: sysctl -a | grep cpu.

ok, see ya later

The latest version that works for me is beta2b, it detects CPU/FSB/RAM speeds perfectly. Is there anything else you want me to check? Should i try the other versions too, or they were made to fix some user specific problems that have nothing to do with my system?
